Zona Sapp

DANVILLE- Zona Y. Sapp, 90 of Danville, passed away at 8:10pm on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Danville Care Nursing Home. She was born on March 13, 1918, in Danville, the daughter of Walter and Edna Fauver Brant, both deceased. On January 24, 1937, Zona married Willard Sapp Sr. in Danville. He preceded her in death in January 1993. Survivors include her four children: Willard (Arlene) Sapp Jr. of Danville, William (Delores) Sapp of Fairmount, IL, Loren (Rita) Sapp of Danville, and Nina Morris of Westville. Her sixteen grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren also survive her. Her six siblings precede Zona in death. Zona was a graduate of Danville High School. She enjoyed playing bunco, making ceramics, and crocheting. Zona enjoyed her time she spent reading nursery rhymes to her children and grandchildren, as well as teaching them to sing.
