Z. Nadene Lewis

Zorena Nadene (Besse) Lewis, 85, of Danville passed away at 3:00am Monday January 23, 2006 at Danville Care North. She was born March 8, 1920 to Roy and Emma (Shawcross) Bessie in Danville. She graduated from Williamsport High School where she met and married her husband of 63 years, Adren B. Lewis. He survives. Other surviving relatives include, one son Martin G. Lewis of Springfield, her grandchildren; Shelley Lewis , Greg Lewis, Kelly Scott McKinley, and Lara Nixon ,all of Danville, Christina (Tom) Wong of Hawaii, and Jarrold (Shelbi) Lewis of Monarch, California, and great-grandchildren; Kelbi and Dylan McKinley, and Jake Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her oldest son Boyd. Nadene was a homemaker and dedicated her life to raising her two sons and caring for her mother. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed planting flowers and raising violets. She was very close to her sisters and spent hours on the phone sharing stories
