Winifred G. Soltau

Winifred G. Soltau, 91, of Danville passed away at 5:49am Tuesday March 15, 2004 at United Samaritan Medical Center in Danville. She was born in Danville on January 20, 1914, the daughter of Harvey Frank and Fannie Frances (Lyman) Seigmund. She married Louis H. Soltau, June 12, 1937 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville. Winifred is survived by two daughters, Winnie Lu (Martian) Shunk of Allerton, Illinois, and Sharon L. (Jack) Olinger of Cudahy, Wisconsin, one sister, Rosalie (Charles) Geter of White Salmon, Washington, two granddaughters, Susan (Jim) McKee of Homer, Illinois, and Leatha (Chris) Marks of Rochester, Wisconsin, and one grandson Louis (Tara) Olinger of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Stanley L. Seigmund. Winifred was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, but in earlier years was a cook for Trinity Lutheran School. She enjoyed traveling and loved her children and grandchildren.
