Danville- Wilma Timm, 79, of Danville passed away at 11:26 PM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on January 16, 1933 in Danville to Clarence and Ruth Lawson. She married her husband of 61 years, John "Jack" Robert Timm on March 1, 1951. He survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Tammy (Gary) Davis of Danville, Trudi Vivier of TN, and Traci (Michael) Gill of Danville; a sister, Lois Childers of Lakeland, FL; three grandchildren, Kelly (Josh) Kelnhofer of Indianapolis, IN, Kyle (Linde) Davis, also of Indianapolis, and Jennifer Gill of Danville; and six great-grandchildren, Austin, Morgan, Brett, Jake, Jillian, and Ellie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, John, and Paul Lawson. Wilma was a homemaker who loved reading, cooking, flowers, and especially golfing. She was past president of the Danville Jr. Women's Club and had been active in Red Mask. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Danville. Father Greg Nelson will officiate. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
