Covington, Ind. -- Wilma P. Woodrow, 88, of Covington, Indiana, passed away at 3:25 p.m. EST Tuesday(January 8, 2008) at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana. She was born March 7, 1919 in Kingman, Indiana, the daughter of the late Pearl and Kathleen Jackson Zackmire. She married Forrest I. Woodrow on December 25, 1938 in Kingman, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2002. Survivors include: one daughter, Pam(Gary)Abernathy of Veedersburg, Indiana; two sons, Rex(Sue)Woodrow of Covington, Indiana and Max(Mary Kay)Woodrow of Veedersburg, Indiana; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Foxworthy of Hillsboro, Indiana; Maureen Moody of Kingman, Indiana and Judy Chumley of Ladoga, Indiana. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Zackmire and Ruthanna Sutton. Wilma was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Kingman High School. She attended the West Liberty Church south of Covington, Indiana. Funeral services: 3 p.m. EST Friday, January 11, 2008 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Sam Guilliams; Burial: Centennial Cemetery, Yeddo, Indiana; Visitation: 2 p.m. EST until time of services on Friday, January 11, 2008 at the funeral home.
