Wilma LaGrand, 67, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 9:13am, Sunday, February 8, 2015, at North Logan Health Care, Danville. She was born on December 16, 1947, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Franklin and Lilly Wilma {Stark} Osborne. On August 27, 1965, she was united in marriage to Charles LaGrand Sr until his passing on June 23, 2010. She will be missed by: her children, Charles Jr (Nicole Nelson) LaGrand of Georgetown, Tracy (Sherry) Smith of Danville, & Claudia OToole of Georgetown; her eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her brothers, Claude (Pauline) Osborne & Dale Osborne, both of Georgetown; and her sisters, Judy Phillips of Westville, Dixie (Al) Thompson of Clarkshill, IN, & Faye (Wayne) Cauley of Janesville, WS. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Gerald Kinderman & Richard Osborne. Wilma worked at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home for 30 years plus as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed playing Bingo and collecting Beanie Babies, as well as, mushroom hunting. She was an avid dog lover and had many that she adored. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids & great grandkids. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Wilmas life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Ron Ingram officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-7pm, Friday, February 13, 2015, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to American Cancer Society.
