Wilma Kilbury

Danville- Wilma Kilbury, 90, of Danville passed away at 3:59 pm on Saturday October 8, 2016 at Gardenview Manor in Danville, IL. Wilma was born on September 12, 1926 the daughter of Henry and Mattie (Davidson) Fegett in Carrollton, KY. She married Charles Albert Kilbury and he preceded her in death on April 25th 1978. Wilma was a member of the Hillery Assembly of God Church. Wilma worked as an Inspector at Chuckles Candy Factory in Danville, IL for many years. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed music, playing her guitar, yodeling, dancing, and her many pets. She was an excellent cook for her family, especially her "fried taters", and took many meals to Chuckles to share with her co-workers. Wilma is survived by her daughter; Darla (Jeff) Barney of Georgetown, IL, five grandchildren; April (Charles) Powell of Vienna, IL, Angela Kilbury of Georgetown, IL, Kristin (Robert) Glidewell of Stewart, FL, Troy Kilbury of Danville, and Cory Tintorri of Georgetown, IL as well as 12 Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great Great-Grandchildren and many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons; Charles and Larry Kilbury, one daughter; Linda Kay Kilbury, two brothers, and six sisters A Celebration of life of Wilma will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday October 15, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Reverend James Blue. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery Oakwood, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday October 14, 2016, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
