Wilma Hill-Pollman, born on August 14, 1935, in Paris, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at Pleasant Medows Nursing Home in Chrisman, Illinois. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy, cherished by her family and friends.

Wilma dedicated a significant portion of her life to her work at Frazier School, where she served as a cook and later assisted with janitorial duties. She was known for her exceptional cooking skills, particularly for having the best noodles, which brought delight to many. Her commitment to her profession exemplified her nurturing spirit, always ensuring that those around her were well cared for.

In addition to her career, Wilma found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and relished moments spent over lunch or coffee with her daughter, Sandy. Their shared experiences, including rummage sales, are treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.

Wilma's family includes her beloved daughter, Sandy (Alan) Taylor; her son Jim (Sandy) Phillips; and her granddaughter, Nicole (Tim) Waterman, along with grandchildren Jimmy and Angie Phillips, and Cody Hill, great-grandchildren Makayla Waterman. She also leaves behind dear nephew Larry Atkinson and several other nieces and nephews who will deeply miss her gentle presence.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Hill and Ralph Pollman, as well as her parents, William and Goldie (Utterback) Phillips. She is also survived by the memory of her late son, Dusty Hill, and her twin sister, Thelma Collins, along with siblings Tuny, Irma, and Bill.

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center's Houghton-Leasure Chapel 200 E West Street Georgetown, Illinois. The funeral service will take place the following day, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM. With Burial to follow at Georgetown Cemetery.

Wilma Hill-Pollman will be remembered for her loving nature, dedication to her family, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of others. Her spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
