Wilma F. Meeker

Cayuga, Ind. - Wilma F. Meeker, 90, of Cayuga, passed away at 2:50 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 13, 2012 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana. She was born October 30, 1921 in Westville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Arthur Monroe and Ethel Howard Edwards. She married Paul B. Meeker on January 16, 1940 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1992. Survivors include two sons, Randy(Dana)Meeker of Palm Coast, Florida and Dennis(Donna)Meeker of Cayuga, Indiana; six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and her sister, Margie Melton of Silverwood, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Meeker and two brothers. Wilma retired from the Cayuga License Branch as Manager in 1986. She was a member of the Cayuga Christian Church. Wilma was a 1939 graduate of Cayuga High School. She enjoyed working outdoors. Private family graveside services and burial were held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Don Morgan.
