Wilma Arnette

Danville Wilma Arnette, 74, of Danville, IL passed away at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL on January 1, 2023.

Wilma was born on October 16, 1948 the daughter of William and Mary (Britton) Doggett in Danville, IL. She married David Arnette on May 23, 2015 in Danville, IL and he survives.

Survivors include her husband, David, Arnette of Danville, IL, her mother, Mary Doggett of Catlin, IL children, Clinton (Martina Kohlmeder) Smith of The Colony, TX, Nathan Brez of Louisville, KY, Damon (Stephanie) Richmond of Grain Valley, MO, Curtis Arnette of Paxton, IL, Darcy (Dan) Herriman of Ocala, FL and Brandy (Josh) Schnur of Riverview, FL, siblings, A.J. (Cody) Doggett of Catlin, IL, William (Cathy) Doggett of Catlin, IL, Pennie (Marc) Chenowith of Catlin, IL and Ron (Skye) Doggett of Oklahoma City, OK, as well as ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and brothers-in-law, Bruce Arnette of Gibson City and Brett Arnette of Georgetown, IL.

Wilma is preceded in death by her father, William Doggett.

Wilma enjoyed spending her free time deer hunting, fishing, gardening, and canning. She and her husband also enjoyed dancing.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Miles Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
