Wilma A. Mount

Wilma A. Mount, 87, passed away on October 11, 2017 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Wilma was born on March 9, 1930 in Danville, IL the daughter of Harry Sr. and Elsie (Henk) Lambert. Wilma married Donald Bailey and later Wayne Mount June 30, 1978 in Danville, IL. Wilma graduated Danville High School and worked at G.E. until her retirement. She loved to travel to Daytona Beach, camping with Wayne at Fairmount Quarry, playing Bingo, watching the Chicago Cubs and was an animal lover. Wilma was also a member of the Danville Eagles Club for many years. She is survived by her sons; Steven (Robin) Bailey of Danville, IL; Daughters, Diane Varvel of Oakwood, Kathy (Robert) Mattingly of Oakwood, Penny Bailey-Walls of Danville; daughter-in-law, Dianne Bailey of Henning, IL; sister, Pat Moody of Danville, IL; grandchildren; Charlie (Michelle) Vaarvel, Rhonda Varvel and Brian (Toya Unroe) Varvel, Lindsay Hale, Michelle (Curtis) Johnson-Orgeron, Tyler Bailey, Shay Bailey, Nikki Ping and Josh Deline; 3 step grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 2 infant twin sons, sons; Mike Bailey, Ray Bailey and son-in-law, Charles Varvel. Visitation will be held Monday 1:00-2:30 PM at Sunset's Oakwood Chapel, 105 East South Main St. Oakwood, IL 61858. Funeral service immediately following at 2:30 PM with Miles Clark officiating. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made in her name to the charity of the donor's choice.
