Willinore L. Hamilton, 92, of Danville left this world full of faith and entered into Heaven to be with Our Heavenly Father at 10:45 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Willinore was born in Sidell, IL on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1920 to Wilbur and Pearl (Eubanks) Shutt. Willinore is survived by her daughter, Sharon Huffman, her son Jim (Barb) Hamilton, grandchildren, Michelle (Joe) McClintock, Laura Perry, Tony (Faith) Huffman, Heather (Jeff) Massey, Kellen (Shawn) Smith and many great-grand, and great-great grandchildren. Her parents, husband and one great-grandson, Tommy Lee Hume went to be with the Lord before her. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church for 80 years. She taught typing at Danville Institute of Business. Willinore enjoyed every moment of her service to Our Lord and to her community. She was a Welcome Wagon hostess for 30 years and a Faith in Action volunteer for 15 years. She also did volunteer work for Lakeview and St. Elizabeth hospitals. She was active with CRIS and the Red Cross. Willinore will be missed by her family and friends. Willinore wanted to give a special thanks to her primary caregivers, Anthony Huffman, Susan Skoog and Sandy Draper. She also wanted to thank Dr. Ronald Serfoss for his selfless service. A Celebration of Willinore's life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. James United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery. Memorials can be made in Willinore's name to St. James United Methodist Church.
