William 'Willie' D. Clem

William Willie David Clem, 37, of Urbana, formerly of Danville, passed away at 7:20 p.m. Sunday December 6, 2009 at his home. Willie was born on August 17, 1972 in Danville, the son of William and Julia (Powell) Clem. They survive. He is also survived by the love of his life- Allison Haines of Urbana; sister- Carrie (Tom) Farrell of Danville; nieces- Ashley (Ryan) Gondzur and Courtney Farrell both of Danville nephew- Tyler Farrell of Danville; and close friends- Shawn Megenhardt of Champaign and D. Patrick Swearingen of New York, New York. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Willie graduated from Oakwood High School in 1990. He also graduated from University of Phoenix, where he obtained his Associates Degree in Business. He worked at Pizza Hut in Danville for 6 years and later Family Video in Rantoul for several years. He was currently working as an office coordinator for Presto-X in Champaign. Willie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved superheroes, cooking, reading, watching movies and caring for his animals. Willie was a kid at heart and loved to make people laugh with his great sense of humor. He was an avid Denver Broncos, Star Wars and Prince fan. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. A Celebration of the Life of William Willie David Clem will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Pastor Daniel Fienen officiating. Burial will follow the service at Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
