William Swearingen

William Swearingen

William Swearingen, 84, of Perrysville, IN, passed away at 5:00 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on August 18, 1928 in Danville, the son of Chester Lee and Ruth Mae (Clawson) Swearingen. He married Carol Middleton in June of 1985 in Cayuga, IN. She survives. Surviving him are four children- David A. (Karla) Jones, William L. (Hau) Swearingen, Micheal (Kim) Swearingen and Tammy J. (Robert) Myers, one stepson- Monte (Gina) Cox, one brother- Ben Swearingen, five grandchildren- Casey, Andrew, Christopher, Matthew and Breanna and one step-granddaughter, Jenny Cox. William was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson- Timothy Jones. He graduated from Danville High School and went on to get his Associates Degree in Electronics. He worked for Eureka and R&S Printing until retiring in 1996. William loved being outdoors. A Celebration of William's Life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park's Chapel Mausoleum with Pastor James Blue officiating.
