William Morris

William R. Morris, 69, of Westville passed away at 10:01pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on November 15, 1948, in Danville, IL, the son of Albert & Josephine (Karcavich) Morris. He was united in marriage to Peggy Pepping on April 11, 1986, she survives. Bill will be dearly missed by: sons, Matt (Nicky) Morris, Jay (Mitzy) VanDuyn, & Daren VanDuyn; daughters, Tori (Karl) Stokes & Kelli (Kary) VanDuyn; brothers, Joe (Jerri) Morris & Frank (Pat) Chantos; grandchildren, Kasey Stokes, Emma Morris, Jack Morris, Robert VanDuyn, Harley VanDuyn, Matthew Tansy & Abby Tansy; four great grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephew & cousins; beloved dog, Shelbi. He was preceded in death by: parents; sister, Pat Burgin; brothers, Bob Chantos & Steve Chantos; great granddaughter, Zoey VanDuyn. He was a member of the Westville Lions club. He enjoyed camping, traveling & visiting with his family and friends. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St. in Westville. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Blue. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
