William Leibach

William Joseph Leibach, 76, of Danville passed away on March 16, 2010 at Provena Covenant Care in Urbana. William Leibach was born December 2, 1933 in Danville son of Joseph and Kathryn (Kochell) Leibach. He married Rebecca Vinson on November 6, 1982 in Collison, Illinois. She survives along with four children: Blair (Charlene) Leibach of Savannah, TN, Barbara Leibach of Safety Harbor, FL, Brian Leibach of St. Petersburg, FL, and Gordon (Dinah) Clingan of Fithian, IL; sister: Charlotte (Dan) Berg of Spring, TX; six grandchildren: Blake, Katie, Benjamin, Kyle, Josh, & Dustin; and four great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Mary Vinson of Danville, IL and special friend Dick Smitty Smith of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara Leibach. Bill was a 51 graduate of Danville High School and had worked for Ameritech for 35 years until retiring in 1986. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville for a number of years, as well as the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post #210. Bill enjoyed flowers & yard work, but above all else he loved his grandchildrens sporting events and spending time with family and friends. Per his wishes he will be cremated and a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 19, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Ted Pracz officiating.
