William "Frank" Hinkle

Georgetown, Ill. - William "Frank" Hinkle, 84, of Georgetown and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 5:41 p.m. EDT Thursday, August 10, 2017. He passed quietly at his daughters home in Georgetown with his children and beloved grandchildren at his bedside.

Frank was born June 13, 1933 in Cayuga, Indiana the son of the late Elsie Mae (Johnson) Riley and Harold Franklin Hinkle.

Frank married Mary Priest in 1961. Together they had three children, daughters Peggy Sue Nose and Lori Ann Hinkle both of Georgetown, Illinois and son, William "Billy" Hinkle of Cayuga, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) Nose, Misty Nose, Ashley Hinkle, Justin Hinkle, Liza Hinkle and Brandon (Carley) Hinkle and Daniel Hinkle; ten great grandchildren; six sisters, Clara (Jerry) Gill, Mary (Sam) Patton, Diane McBeath, Sue (Bud) Myers, Nancy Grimes and Linda Carter; four brothers, Carl (Alta) Hinkle, Robert (Patty) Hinkle, Mike Hinkle and Willy (Carol) Root.

Frank was preceded in death by his son, Randy Hinkle; granddaughter, Brittany Hinkle; grandsons, Randy and Barrett Hinkle; sisters, Francis Hinkle; Elsie Randolph; Dorothy Johnson and Joann Hill; brother, George Hinkle, and special nephew, Justin Hinkle.

Frank attended Cayuga school. He enjoyed talking and visiting with friends and family, and collecting. He especially loved his kids and grandkids, as they were his world.

Graveside service and burial: 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
