William E. Holstine

Danville William E. "Bill" Holstine, 68, of Danville passed away at 11:35 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on November 1, 1954 in Danville to Fredrick William and Lea (Hennette) Holstine. He married Debbie Hayes on May 23, 1974. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Erin (Jim) Hosken of Noblesville, IN, Michael Holstine of Danville, and Caleb Holstine of Danville; and three grandchildren, Brady, Ben, and Emily Hosken.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Ore Vacketta, and a brother, Craig Holstine.

Bill was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working on anything that needed attention. He was a member of the Danville Jehovahs Witness Kingdom Hall and liked bike riding and painting. Bill was also a big sports fan and would watch whatever game was on TV.

Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held at this time. Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 is in charge of arrangements.
