William Dale

William Dale, 25, of Danville, passed away unexpectedly at 9:47am on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at home. William was born on March 16, 1984, in Olympia Fields, IL, the son of John and Joan (Vojak) Dale. William is survived and will be missed by his parents, John and Joan Dale of Danville, his two brothers, Michael (Stephanie) Dale of Danville, Steven Dale of Danville, and his sister, Sara (Scott) Warren of Danville. His niece, Maci, nephew, Clark, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, his paternal grandmother, Colette Dale of Danville, and the Brown family, Bob, Vicky, Chase, and Chad, of Danville, also survives William. His maternal grandparents, Josephine and Charles Vojak, and his paternal grandfather, Robert Dale, precede William in death. William graduated from Danville High School, obtained an Associates Degree from DACC, and attended Illinois State University. He enjoyed working with his father, John, setting up tents for the Mahaffe Tent Company, for military events, weddings, and other special gatherings. He also helped his brother with his landscaping business. William was a huge Illini and Chicago Cubs fan. The family has asked that all friends please were their orange and blue Fighting Illini colors on Tuesday in honor of Williams love for the Fighting Illini. A Catholic Mass for William Dale will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at St. Pauls Church located at 1303 N. Walnut Street in Danville. Visitation will be from 4pm until 9pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville with a 3:30pm Rosary Service. Per Williams family, cremation rites will follow the Mass on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Williams name to the Epilepsy Foundation and/or your favorite charity.
