WESTVILLE- William Chuck Jones, 73 of Westville, passed away at 1:20am on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Mr. Jones was born on August, 3, 1933, in Glasko, KY, the son of W.C. and Dorothy (Steenbergen) Jones. Both his parents precede him in death. On November 29, 1974, Chuck married Darlene Giuliani in Danville. She continues to reside in Westville. Others who will also miss him include: his daughter, Lynn (Mike) Megge of Virginia-Beach, VA; his step-children, Cheryl (Steve) Bennett of Westville, and Michael Urban of Nashville, TN; his three grandsons, Ben Jones, Steve Jones, both of Covington, IN, and Matthew Megee of Virginia-Beach, VA; his step-granddaughter, Amanda Urban of Louisville, KY; his three brothers, Joseph (Bert) Jones of Westville, Frank (Cindy) Jones of Danville, and Paul (Donna) Jones of Mansfield, OH; as well as, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. His son, John C. Jones, precedes Chuck in death. Chuck enlisted into the United States Army in 1953 and was stationed in Germany before being discharge in 1955. After the service, Chuck was employed at General Motors Tilton Foundry, retiring after 35 years of service. His was a member of the Westville American Legion Post#51. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with his step son-in-law, Steve, and his nephew, Rick Jones, and his two special friends, Matt and Mark Attutis, as well as the rest of his family. Chuck enjoyed helping people and his early morning cups of coffee with his Steak-n-Shake buddies. A celebration of the life of Mr. William Chuck Jones is scheduled for 11:00am on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Home at 414 South State St. in Westville. Officiating will be Pastor Scott McCurdy. Final resting place will be at Partlow Cemetery in Armstrong. A gathering of family and friends will be held between 4-8pm on Friday, October 27, 2006 at the funeral home.
