William 'Bud' Turner

Clinton, Ind. - William 'Bud' Turner, 81, of Clinton passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 10:40 p.m. EDT at the Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton.

He was born March 22, 1939 son of the late Herschel and Elizabeth (Webb) Turner

Bud married Lois Mankins and she preceded him in death on August 25, 2020.

Survivors include a daughter: Toni Smith of Centerville, Indiana; four sisters: Lilly Asbury of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Mary Turner of Cayuga, Indiana, Loretta Stonebraker of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Arletta Fleming of Cayuga, Indiana; one brother: Tom Turner of Cayuga, Indiana and three grandchildren.

Bud was preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy; a son: Jamie Turner; an infant son; one grandson: Brock; sister: Barbara Jean; infant sister: Carolyn; brother: Dennis Turner and a stepdaughter: Albenia Silotto

Bud attended Cayuga High School. He was well known for being a handyman when someone was in need and would go out of his way to help others. In his spare time he enjoyed squirrel hunting and riding his scooter around. Bud also cherished all of the years he and Lois shared together.

At the request of the family, cremation has been accorded and there will be no services. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is caring for the family.
