William 'Bub' Caudill

Danville- William R. Bub Caudill, 62, of Danville went home to be with the Lord at 2:42 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at his residence. He was born on February 4, 1949 in Danville to Haskins and Rose McQueen Caudill. He married Sue Burk on February 18, 1966. She survives. Also surviving are his mother Rose; two sons, William (Angela) Caudill of Oakwood and Robert Caudill of Danville; three sisters Pat (Bob) Stevens of Danville, Marthy (Ted) Ayers of OH, and Brenda (Randy) Duncan of Danville; four brothers, Jessie Caudill of KY, Randy (Sheila) Caudill of Tilton, Roger (Sharon) Caudill of Danville, and Kent Caudill of Danville; four grandchildren, Robert Dean, Robbie, Melissa, and Elizabeth; and one great-grandson Bryson. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Nancy and Norma Jean. Bub worked at Heatcraft until his retirement after 40 years and was also a member at Latter Rain Fellowship. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting lures. A service to celebrate the life of William Bub Caudill will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Robbie Caudill will officiate. Burial will follow at Songer Cemetery in Tilton. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, May 12, also at Sunset in Danville.
