William 'Billy The Kid' Strubberg

DANVILLE- Mr. William Billy the Kid Strubberg, 51, of Danville, passed away at 12:14pm on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Strubberg was born on May 24, 1955, in Danville, the son of Walter and Wilma (Priest) Strubberg. Both his parents precede him in death. Surviving family members included: Cliff and Dorothy Alexander of Danville to which he considered his second parents, his son, Shannon Strubberg; his two daughters, Brandy Strubberg of Georgia and Jessica Strubberg of Danville; his brother, Walter (Paula) Strubberg of Ridge Farm; his sister, Dianna (John) Chord of Danville, as well as the rest of his extending family. His parents, his brother-Jim Strubberg, and his sister-Donna Strubberg, preceded Billy in death. Billy was a caretaker, landscaper and gardener. He was a gifted harmonica player and loved a variety of music. Billy enjoyed fishing, animals, especial his dog, Bear, and begin with his family and friends. A public graveside service for Mr. Billy Strubberg is scheduled for 10:00am on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola. Pastor Jim Blue will officiate the service. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
