He also deeply enjoyed movies, Christian literature and television. Throughout his life Billy deeply loved his family, his friends, and his cats. He openly and unselfishly shared his time and unique sense of humor with all. An avid gardener for most of his life, Billy regularly kept a garden where he grew and shared his delicious vegetables with everyone. Billy worked at a number of professions, and was extremely proficient at using a chain saw and at cutting trees. He was also employed at different times in his life a Lowes, McLeans, and Anchor Hocking of Danville. Bill also regularly worked as an independent contractor in the area of yard maintenance, mowing lawns and general landscaping for most of his adult life.
