William 'Bill' Tesson

GEORGETOWN- William Bill Tesson, 93 of Georgetown passed away at 2:40am, Sunday, June 11, 2006 at the Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, IL. He was born on April 7, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, MO, one of six children of William and Connie (Stevens) Tesson. On July 14, 1932, Bill married Ada (Doty) in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death in August of 2001. Those who will miss him include: his daughter, Joyce (Les) Stevens of Georgetown; two sisters, Mildred Seghers of Florrisant, MO, and Betty (Sam) Kreepey of St. Charles, MO; his granddaughter, Stacey (Mike) Schendel of Bismarck, IL; his grandson, Steve (Jeanne) Stevens of Flower Mounds, TX; and his 3 great-grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. Bill retired from the Hyster Foundry of Danville in 1987. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Bill was an animal lover, always receiving joy and pleasure in caring for his pets and the wild life. A celebration of Bills life is scheduled for 11:00am on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home located at 200 E. West St. in Georgetown. Final resting place will be held at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10-11am) on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the funeral home.
