William 'Bill' R. Reese

William "Bill" R. Reese, 78, of Bismarck, passed away at 9:19 PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home. William was born on April 16, 1934 in Danville, the son of Isaac Edward and Cecil Evelyn (Mendenhall) Reese. He married Linda L. Foster on May 9, 1958 in Danville. She survives. He is survived by two sons- Randy A. Reese of Texas and John R. Reese of Bismarck, one daughter- Kelly M. (Reese) Clifton of Alabama, one brother- Leroy Reese of Bismarck, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters. William worked as a welder and in construction. He also worked at Hyster until retiring in 2002-2003. He was in the United States Navy. William enjoyed auto racing, coaching girls fast pitch softball at Winter Park, Indiana High School Basketball and viewing the deer at the county parks. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to all his friends and family. There will be a memorial service and burial at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Memorials can be made in Bill's name to the American Liver Foundation.
