William 'Bill' Pearson

William "Bill" Pearson, 90 of Rossville, IL, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at his home. Bill was born November 15, 1932 in Attica, IN, the son of Raymond and Ossie (Ottinger) Pearson. He married Mary Ann Ingram on June 16, 1957 at the Antioch Church of Christ in Rossville, IL. She preceded him in death. Later, Bill married Rita Freeman on January 23, 1999. She survives at home.

He is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Sloan of Sturgis, MI, Chris White of Rossville and Laura (Josh) Matthews of Kingman, IN, one son, Justin, one sister Diane Moss of Rockville, IN, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his first wife, Mary Ann, he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond Pearson, Jr., one sister, Rose Pearson, one son-in-law, Clarence White and one daughter, Suann Bryant.

Bill worked for the N&W Railroad, Stokelys and helped Jim York and Larry Matthews farm for many years. Bill enjoyed model trains, mowing the yard, visiting with people and spending time with family.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at Rossville Cemetery.
