William 'Bill' Haines

Covington- William "Bill" Haines, 64, of Covington, IN passed away at 5:26 PM on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born on April 11, 1947 in Bloomfield, IN to Dorcas (Terrell) and Gilbert Haines. He married his wife of 19 years Glenda (Conrad) Watt on October 31, 1993. She survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Lynn Rowe of Linton, IN, Rebecca (Nathan) Sutherlen of Greenville, TN, and Merry (Dusty) Le Dune of Linton, IN; a step-daughter Tamiko (Drew) McGurk of Covington, IN; four granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Glennys, and Marley; four grandsons, Brandon, Ethan, Jacob, and Westin; a very special niece Ronda Baldwin; and friend Todd Akers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Connie Jo. Bill drove a semi for 28 years with Frontier-Indianapolis, RBW Terre Haute, and Walker Ag. He was a 1965 graduate of Swiss City High School. Bill loved to ride on motorcycle trips. Per Bill's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
