William 'Bill' Edward Bergan

William (Bill) Edward Bergan, of Rantoul, was born April 16, 1965 to Thomas and Elizabeth (Wallace) Bergan in Danville, IL. He went to be with Jesus on May 10, 2016. Bill was a 1983 graduate of Oakwood High School. He married his wife, Sherry, in 2003. She survives. Bill leaves behind his mother; his wife; two daughters, Haley and Ashley Harris; two sons Tyler (Jennifer) Moffitt and Dusty (Heather) Harris; a granddaughter Savannah Moffitt; three brothers Barry (Maria) Bergan, Patrick (Gina) Bergan, and James (Keli) Bergan; three sisters Wynne (Jim) Steinbaugh, Diana (Larry) Lytle, and Kelley (Randy) Davis. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father. Bill loved his family and was most proud of his children. He was also a lifelong Illini fan. Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Private memorial services will be held for the family.
