William A. Line

Danville- William Albert Line, son of James Ray Line and Euna Shanks Line was born May 14, 1921 in Talbot, Tennessee. He graduated from Morristown High School and worked for Tennessee Valley Authority until he went into the Air Force and served 3 years. He flew 32 missions over enemy territory. He married Dortha Mae Johnson in Danville, IL. She survives after 65 years if marriage. They had three children David Michael, Linda, and Nancy. He was preceded in death by Linda and Mike, as well as one brother, James. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He retired from Lawhoff Grain Company after 26 years and had attended First Baptist Church since 1951. He drove the church bus and served where ever he could. He loved the Lord Jesus and we know he is with him now. Services for William Line will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Danville. Pastor Jerry Cummins will officiate. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM prior to the services at the church. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements.
