William A. Baker, 81, of Danville passed away on March 29, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.
He was born on February 14, 1939 in Cayuga, IN the son of Auburn and Lola Bell (Elliott) Baker. He married Sharon Ann Coonce and she survives.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife, Sharon, children; Rodney, Randy and Rusty Baker, Shari (Jeff) Mays, Dorrie (Mike) Pierce and Darrin (Kimeri) Shull, sisters; Doris Michael, Judy Hogan, Susie Fassett and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Billy Baker and sister, Margaret Wilbur.
Bill graduated from Danville High and served in the United States Army. He had his own electrician business for several years as well as upholstery. He was a member of Catlin Masonic Lodge and loved to go bowling.
A private family graveside service for Bill will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Atherton Cemetery in Danville with Pastor Jay Sorrell officiating.
