Warren Pratt

Warren H. Pratt, 81 of Danville, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2004 at VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville. He was born October 2, 1922, in Holland, Minnesota, the son of Charles and Margaret (Halloran) Pratt. He married Betty J. Morgeson on February 22, 1947 in Danville, Illinois. He is survived by: his wife of 57 years - Betty J. Pratt of Danville; 2 Sons - George (Diana) Pratt of Oakwood, Steve (Ruth) Pratt of Danville; 2 Daughters- Paula (Ken) Lewis of Neoga, IL, Lisa Pratt of Danville; 9 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Brother- Charles (Wilma) Pratt of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 Great-Grandson- Sean Kirkpatrick; 1 Sister - Mary Pratt and 3 Brothers- Robert Pratt, George Pratt and Don Pratt. Warren worked 35 years as an Electrician for Local #538, until his retirement in 1987. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Philippines and was a member of the American Legion, Post #210 - Danville. He had done the electrical work for and was an avid supporter of the Vermilion County War Museum & War Memorials. He also enjoyed fishing. "Warren was a good husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who enjoyed spending his time with his family."
