Wannah N. Lamar

Wannah N. Lamar, 84, of Danville passed away on December 28, 2018 at North Logan Nursing Home in Danville.

She was born in North Manchester, IN on November 30, 1934.

She is survived by her son, Scott (Shelley) Lamar, grandchildren; Anthony (Bailee Crawford) Lamar, Michaela (Dylan) Howie and Meghan (Kirby Burke) Lamar, great grandchildren, Brianne Grace Lamar, Remi Mae Lamar, Rowen Anthony Crawford and one due in May.

Wannah was preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett Lamar, daughter, Lisa Marie and her Aunt and Uncle Dow.

Wannah was raised in Danville by her uncle Joseph Dow, Sr. and his wife and children. She graduated from Danville High then went on to nursing school, graduating from Lakeview in 1955. Wannah was a registered nurse for 55 years, working in every department at the hospitals she worked at. Along with her husband Everett they trained and raced harness horses.

Per Wannahs wishes she will be cremated and kept by her family. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville are in charge of arrangements.
