Waneta Hayden

Waneta Hayden, 89, of Miami, Florida and formerly of Danville, Illinois passed away on February 17, 2011 at her home. Waneta was born on August 22, 1921 in Danville, Illinois daughter of Fred and Ava (Stuebe) Hall. She married Joseph Hayden on December 11, 1939 in Dubuque, IA; he preceded her in October of 2001. She is survived by Son Joseph (Debbie) Hayden II of Miami, FL, and two brothers Fred Hall of Westville, IL and Dale Hall of Austin, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents and Sister Winifred Prestwood. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker and enjoyed caring for animals and growing tropical fruits. A Celebration of Wanetas Life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL with Father Greg Nelson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
