Wanda Thompson

Wanda I. Thompson, 83, of Westville, passed away at 1:39 p.m. Thursday May 27, 2010 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on September 29, 1926 in Georgetown, IL the daughter of Joseph and Hattie (Niziol) Zielinsky. Survivors include her sister, Helen Balent of Danville and her brother Joseph Zielinsky of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda retired from Illinois Bell where she worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping and creating wire rosaries.
