Wanda Sue Richardson

Wanda Sue Richardson, 65, of Ridge Farm, IL, passed away at 4:50pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born on March 18, 1947, to Sanford and Barbara {Nichols} Richardson in Cayuga, Indiana. Wanda has two sons, Corey D. (Nina) Meeks and Michael D. Meeks, who will miss her dearly. She will be missed by her brother, Richard Richardson, her granddaughter, Breann, and several special family members and friends. Wanda worked at Casey's General Stores for the past 20 years serving as District Manager. She was very active in the community, helping with Thunder on the Ridge, Ridge Farm Family Festival & Raffle at the Park. She enjoyed family, friends, knitting, Bingo, and traveling. A celebration of Wanda's life will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Linda Rowe officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm, Monday, November 26, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sugar Grove Cemetery, St. Bernice, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wanda's name may be given to the Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm, IL, or Sugar Grove Cemetery.
