Wanda L. Barth

Danville- Wanda L. Barth, 84, of Danville passed away at 9:10 AM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on October 31, 1926 in Danville to James and Leatha Scott Taylor. She married Clyde E. Barth on November 20, 1942. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2002. Surviving are son Randy Barth of Danville; two sisters Ruby Copsy of Danville and Lily Underwood of Danville, IL; two grandchildren Craig Barth of Danville and Jamie Wheeler of Paris, IL; great-granddaughter Madison Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and a brother. Wanda worked at R & S Printing and Eureka Printing before going to Lakeview as a CNA. She also later worked in Supply there. A graveside service for Wanda L. Barth will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oakwood, where internment will follow. Pastor Raymie Gordon will officiate. Arrangements are with Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville. Memorials may be made to the Vermilion County War Museum.
