Wanda J. Vecellio

Westville, Ill. - Wanda J. (McMasters) Vecellio, 72, of Westville, passed away at 10:06 a.m. CST Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born May 31, 1944 in Eugene, Indiana the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Thompson McMasters. Wanda married Dave Vecellio on April 7, 1990 in Westville, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Bryan Trosper of Westville, Illinois and David Trosper of Walker, Louisiana; two stepsons, Lance (Ali) Vecellio of Noblesville, Indiana and Tad (Kelly) Goble of Bismarck, Illinois; three grandchildren, Nancy; Paul and Chase; six greatgrandchildren, Levi; Calie; James; Isaac; Axel and Leo; two step granddaughters, Karsen and Lauren; three brothers, Gerald (Pam) McMasters of Catlin, Illinois; Paul (Jean) McMasters and John (Sherry) McMasters both of Cayuga, Indiana; special friend, Penny Miller of Tilton, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Wanda retired in 2007 from the Illiana V.A. Medical Center in Danville, Illinois as a Pharmacy Technician. She was a member of the Southside Nazarene Church in Tilton, Illinois. Wanda was a 1962 graduate of Cayuga High School. She enjoyed sewing, reading, raising flowers, watching birds and supporting the North Vermillion High School athletic teams. Funeral services: 7 p.m. EST Monday, February 20, 2017 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Wade Martin; Visitation: 3 p.m. until time of services Monday, February 20, 2017 at the funeral home.
