Walter Newell

Walter Lee Newell, 55, of Indianapolis, formerly of Georgetown passed away at 9:58 a.m. Friday May 20, 2005 in Westville, IL. He was born on September 6, 1949 in Danville, IL the son of Haven and Myrtle Smothers Newell. He married Sheri Hardin on August 4, 1996 in Indianapolis, IN. She survives. Survivors include: one son, Jeff (Diane) Newell of Westville; one daughter, Jennifer Newell of Catlin; one brother, Roger (Deana) Newell of Westville; three sisters, Penny (Leroy) Swider of Danville, Connie (Herman) Morris of Danville, and Christina Milliken of Springfield, IL; his stepfather, Steve Newell of Kingman, IN; and one grandson, Kole Quick of Catlin. He was preceded in death by his parents. Walter was self-employed. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 470 in Fishers, IN.
