Cayuga, Ind. -- Walter N. "Walt" Yoho, 71, of Cayuga, passed away at 2:41 p.m. EDT Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his campground east of Cayuga. He was born October 17, 1939 in Cayuga, Indiana, the son of the late Clyde and Hazel Watson Yoho. He married Christina "Tina" Byrne on August 26, 1988 in Henderson County, Kentucky. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Jacinta Bolin of Nancy, Kentucky; step-children, Sheryl Stimac of Danville, Illinois; Marty, Bill and Scott Craft all of Kingman, Indiana; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon(Bob)Craft of Cayuga, Indiana and Karen Jean(John)Robertson of Terre Haute, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Shiloh Yoho. Walt was a retired heavy machine operator. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. #1393 in Indianapolis and the Montezuma Fish and Game Club. Walt served with the United States Army from 1956 thru 1959. He enjoyed fishing, camping and helping his community with projects. Walt especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Funeral services: 10 a.m. EDT Saturday, July 23, 2011 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Don Morgan; Burial: Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana with military rites by the Cayuga American Legion Post 263; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday, July 22, 2011 at the funeral home.
