Walter Miller

Walter Miller, 68, of Danville, passed away at 6:15am, Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on February 17, 1952, in Danville, IL, the son of Alvie and Mildred {Willhite} Miller. Walter will be dearly missed by his son, Walter (Kim) Miller of Rossville; his daughter, Kim (Dannie) Smith of Florida; his brother, Tom Miller of Brazil, IN; his sisters, Irene (Charles) Mercer of Oakwood, Patricia (Bill) Priest of Tilton, & Betty (Lonnie) Duprey of Indianola; his grandchildren, Mercedes (Rick) Deardorff, Talen Miller, Halee Miller, Cash Miller, Cayce Miller, Clayton Dodson, Kameron Jackson, & Kasey (Daniel) Swank; his special niece & caregiver, Rebecca Fultz; and many more nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Kenneth, Gary, & Gene Miller; and his special friend, Linda Craft. Walter was known to many as a big Elvis fan. He was always joking around with family and friends. He loved collecting cars which included his Chevy trucks and his favorite cars, Corvettes. He loved spending time with his family, especially grandchildren. A private family service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. A visitation for friends and family will be held 9:00am to 11:00am, Friday, November 27, 2020 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
