CHRISMAN- Vivian Leona Voyles Collom, 79 of Chrisman, passed away at 11:40am on Friday, July 8, 2005 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Center in Chrisman. She was born on March 25, 1926 to Charles and Lillie (Hayes) Voyles. On February 21, 1945, Vivian married Vernard Bunk Collom. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1989. Before moving to Chrisman, Vivian lived in Ridge Farm were she raised five children. Her surviving children include three daughters; Charlene Szollosi of Ozark, AL, Kay (Duane) Fidler of Chrisman, and Carol Mohr of Peru, IL, one son, Vernard Biff Collom Jr. of Danville, one brother, Russell (Vivian) Voyles of Ridge Farm, IL and three sisters, Irene Harris of Ridge Farm, Nadene (Hank) Nardoni of Hot Springs, AR, and Loriene Mazzochi of Ocala, FL. Several sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Gram will also be missed by her very much loved grandchildren, Kevin (Michelle) Bush, Nathan (Tammy) Bush, all of Ozark, AL, Laura Buffy Fidler of Marshall, IL, Dana Mohr of Normal, IL, and Kristin Mohr of Peru, IL. Four great granddaughter; Andrea, Kaitlyn, Alexis and Danielle Bush, all of Ozark, AL whom all lovingly called her Gi-Gi-, as well as one honorary great-granddaughter; Ashley Fowler of Marshall. Her parents, husband, one son Greg, and a sister, Louise Fifield, precede Vivian in death. Vivian was a homemaker and a former member of the Ridge Farm Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing games, especially the card game, Skip-bo.
