Virginia Talbert, 85, of Covington, passed away at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at 11:05 p.m. Virginia was born on December 10, 1922, in Ravenna, Kentucky, the daughter of Lucas and Susie (Marcum) Henry. On February 10, 1946, Virginia married Richard M. Talbert in State Line, Indiana. He preceded her in 1994. Also surviving are one son; Rick (Cindy) Talbert of Covington, IN and their children, Chrisann Odle of Danville, IL, Holly (Mike) Hatch of Veedersburg, IN, Kris (Stephen) Black of Judyville, IN and Shannon Black of Hillsboro, IN; one daughter; Sandy (Dave) Seilhymer of Catlin, IL and their children, Jeff (Cindy) Turner of New Richmond, IN, Sherry (Travis) Covault of Veedersburg, IN, Scott Seilhymer of Georgetown, IL, and Rick Seilhymer of Hume, IL; one sister, Julia Henry of Holland, OH, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; special friends; April, Melody, Mina, Pastor Tom Hunter and all of her family at the Covington Nazarene Church and the Friendship Circle Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and one grandson, Ron Seilhymer. Virginia was a graduate of Tompkinsville, Kentucky. She attended the Covington Nazarene Church. Virginia loved flowers and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A celebration of Virginias life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. EST at Sunsets Covington Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. EST at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Walnut Corner Cemetery in Bismarck, IL. Memorials may be made to the Covington Nazarene Church and the Friendship Circle Center in memory of Virginia.
