Virginia Stewart

Virginia L. Stewart, 96, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Colonial Manor in Danville. She was born on May 31, 1926 in Danville, IL the daughter of Gertrude (Haworth) and Harley Callings in Danville, IL.

Virginia leaves behind her two sons, John Stewart and Jim Stewart; grandchildren, James, Ken, Kevin, Mary; and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Anne Klich.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, 100 N Franklin St, Danville, IL 61832. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Officiating will be Rev Ann Schwartz. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
