Virginia Pratt

Virginia Pratt,90, of Covington, Indiana, passed away at 11:15 pm Tuesday July 7th, 2026, at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born July 16, 1935, in Ridgefarm, Illinois. Daughter of Virgil and Mary "Ruth"(Poling) Kunkle. She was united in marriage to Claude Pratt on April 12,1958 until his passing on September 21, 2020. 

Virginia will be missed by her children Timothy (Linda) Pratt and Teresa Pryor all of Covington. Grandchildren Kevan (Emily) Pratt, Aaron (Kelli) Pratt, Sarah (Shawn) Durand, Heather Bolsen, Marcus (Chelsea) Durand. 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, Sister-in-law Brenda Sue Kunkle and several nieces and nephews. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Joshua Pratt, sister Mary Lou Collom, brother Russell Kunkle.

Virginia spent her last 4 years at Fountain Springs Assisted living, where she enjoyed playing the piano, enjoying the activities, playing games, even wii bowling. But most of all, painting pictures. She will be missed by all those whose lives she had touched.
