Virginia M. Perona

Virginia M. Perona, 90, a lifelong resident of Danville, died at 1:00 am Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Colonial Manor in Danville. Virginia was born November 27, 1919, the daughter of John Otto and Mae Allison. She married James L. Perona and he preceded her in death July 10, 1988. Also surviving are a daughter Carol (Carl) Fiordelisi of Bethel, CT; two sons, Thomas (Marlene) Perona of Conyers, GA, and Michael (Juleigh) Perona of Fridley, MN.; seven grandchildren, Jordan and Christopher Fields, Matthew and Nicholas Perona, Ben, James and Caitlyn Perona, three great grandchildren, Braden, Aizlyn and Arieana Fields. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters. Virginia was a member of Central Christian Church in Danville and was a homemaker all of her life. A service to celebrate the life of Virginia M. Perona will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Per Virginias wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the services on Tuesday from 1-2 PM also at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
