Virginia Legare

Virginia H. Legare, 95, of Danville passed from this life on October 8th, 2015 at Hawthorne Inn, Danville, Illinois. She was born Feb. 10, 1920 in Danville, IL., to Harry and Mable (Cloe) Tallman. Virginia is survived by a niece Karen Buglar and a nephew David Tallman, three step daughters; Valerie Legare, Linda Dermandy and Shelley Jonas, special friends; Mike and Mary Burrow and Mike and Cyndie Klein. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, two brother's Harry Jr. and Wilbur Tallman, husbands; Grover Hallet and Robert Legare, one step daughter Nancy Legare. Virginia attended Danville Schools graduating from Danville High School in 1938. She worked for Hyster and Walgreens in the Accounting Department. Virginia was an avid Illini fan especially enjoying Illinois Basketball, also Virginia loved reading. She enjoyed cooking gardening and taking care of her home, where she lived independently up until just a few weeks ago. A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Saturday October 10, 2015 from 10-11am. A Celebration of Virginias life will take place at 11am. at the funeral home.
