She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore; her brothers, Louis and Howard; her sisters, Katherine and Mary; and her nephew Denny. Virginia was known for her generous nature; if you were to go into Virginias house, it was a guarantee that you would be leaving with a full stomach. She was not the type of person to let you leave hungry. She was an advocate for volunteer work; Virginia was a longtime volunteer at many local hospitals. She was a very proud grandmother, she would often brag about her grandkids. Virginia also loved to travel around the States, especially Minnesota, Arizona, and Brazil, Indiana. In her later years Virginia discovered gambling, she loved to go on trips with her family and stop wherever she had the chance to try her luck. Above all else, Virginia loved her family; she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Virginias life will be held at 3pm on Saturday April 19, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Homes Oakwood Chapel. A visitation will be held on Saturday April 19, 2014 from 1pm to 3pm at the funeral home.
