Virginia Fulk, 89, of Danville passed away on February 13, 2011 at Danville Care Center. Virginia was born on April 8, 1921 in Danville, Illinois daughter of John and Edna (Poggendorf) Graening. She married John Fulk on June 8, 1946 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons: Keith (Carolann) Fulk of Annandale, VA and Forrest Fulk of Riverside, CA; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John in April of 1980. Virginia attended Immanuel Lutheran grade school and Danville High School. After being married she and John moved to Crane, Bloomfield, and Worthington, Indiana over the first number of years. But after settling back into Danville in 1957 she worked at Meis Brothers, Margolin Package CO., Bud Electronic Supply, and Hills Department Store. She was a lifetime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville and was very active in the community. Belonging to the Business & Professional Women, V.F.W and American Legion Aux., Vermilion County Homemakers where was Toastmistress two times, and A.B.W.A. women of the year in 1986 A Celebration of Virginias Life will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Fienen Officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home will be handling the arrangements.
