Virginia Burk

Virginia L. Burk, 79, of Danville went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of Harry and Violet Winters in Chicago, Illinois. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Frank Burk, and brothers Roy Winters and Tom Winters.

Virginia is survived by her children Jo Isenberg, Robert Winters, William J. (Amanda) Ferry, and Barbara (Jason) Abbott; grandchildren Morgan (Sara) Supergan, Lexie Miller, Leslie Charles (Autumn) Hahne IV, Alexander Hahne, Michaela (Brodie) Pirie, and Mackenzie Abbott. She also leaves behind 4 great grandchildren Scottie, Lorelei, Evelyn, and Rylie and brothers Fred (Shirley) Winters and Ron (Aleta) Winters.

Virginia loved watching old movies and had a passion for her family. She looked forwarding to spending time with her grandchildren. She loved Jesus and loved talking about Him. She enjoyed worshipping at Second Church of Christ.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor Kiley Garrison. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
